Roofus the Snow Sweeping Robot

on:A buildup of snow can be dangerous for large, flat-roofed structures like super markets or office buildings. All of that snow is usually removed by freezing hands and snow shovels, but, if designer Michal Glogowski’s dreams ever come true, a robot can do it instead.
Roofus is an automated snowplow that could also be controlled by remote, and it’s specifically engineered to clear off roofs. It’ll travel around the top of a building, using its teeth to scoop up snow and break up ice, tossing it all into a hopper. Then it’ll head to the side of the building and empty itself out, repeating the process until the roof is cleared. At 220 pounds, it wouldn’t be heavier than having a couple people on the roof, and it can be outfitted with lawn mowing blades, street sweeping attachments and more during warmer months.

It has some pretty awesome mind-blowing specs: 45,000 quad core Opteron processors, 362TB of RAM, and a 10PB (petabyte) storage array. This thing goes along at a sserious 1.64 petaflops. When your hiking up an icy cold slope of a mountain, and you don’t want to take out your hand out of the glove just to make a call. Your would probably just freeze outside of the glove and that’s just simply inconvenient, that’s there are these pair of swany G-cell gloves: winter gloves with blue-tooth built inside.
These gloves allow you to make the classic “phone” hand gesture and it actually works. It’s extremely easy, all you have to do is hold hand by the side of your head and you’ll be set.
